Beautiful Bracelet for a Beautiful Person

~My Best Friend's New Bracelet~

My best friend Stephanie came over last night and had an idea - she wanted a bracelet. But not just any bracelet, a beautiful, red, chunky, multi strand bracelet that she could wear to an upcoming party. We played around with some beads, and this is what we came up with. I love having Stephanie over - we always design such cool stuff because she has such incredible taste and is always up with the styles. This bracelet is made with Czech glass rectangle and fire polish beads, Czech glass seed beads, silver plated beads, reducers and spacers, and a sterling silver lobster clasp. I love this bracelet so much, I got on my suppliers' websites and ordered more supplies to make a few of these in different colour schemes! When the supplies do arrive, I'll have these made in a jiffy (I may have to keep one though, lol). Keep checking back here and on the Etsy site, I'll let you know when they are available - you'll have to act fast, because these will go fast.
As always, I have more jewellery posted on the Etsy site, so be sure to check it out for some really good deals!
Take care, happy drooling over my jewellery,

Bookmarks and Bracelets and Rings - Oh My!

~A Few of the Items I Made This Week~

Well, this has been a busy week: I made the items you see above (plus a few more), as well as stocked my Etsy store with a few others from my website; I also got a few more reference books to inspire me to make some new pieces (keep checking back - they are going to floor you!); plus I made my best friend Stephanie a beautiful bracelet that I will have to make again to show you - it's gorgeous!
I made some great simple rings with sterling silver wire and Czech glass beads, as well as similar ones in gold filled wire. I also made a beautiful spiral ring with amber and Czech glass in 14karat gold filled wire. I made a nice bracelet with memory wire and rhodonite stones with agate and Czech glass beads. I also made a stunning bookmark with a gold plate bookmark, and beautiful patterns of Czech glass beads in lilac, gold and natural pink, and leaves of green. I made so much more, but I don't want to ruin the surprise!
I have so much more to show you, but I have to get these new rings, bracelets, earrings, a cell fob and a bookmark on the Etsy site tomorrow. Check it out! These are high quality pieces at great deals!
Have a great day,

I'm Interviewed!

~Some of the New Earrings on My Etsy Store~

Well the Esty store is phenomenal! I have joined a great group of like-minded artists from the Ottawa area on the Etsy site called Capital Crafters. They even did a mini-interview of me on the blog! Check it out at: http://capitalcrafters.blogspot.com/ you can also find us on Etsy by searching for the keywords Ottawa Team.
I have lots of new items (including great gifts for under 10 dollars!) so please stop by and see them all! You can get directly to my store by clicking the Etsy link on the right side of the page. I'm still trying to sell enough to pay for my cat's surgery, so I need all the help I can get!
I'm off to make more jewellery - seeing all the artists on Etsy really has me inspired!
Happy jewellery hunting!

Tell Time in Style!

~Super-Cool Sterling Silver Celtic Spiral Watch~

I bought some watch faces a while back and had absolutely NO idea what to make of them. they are simple, and I wanted to make them pop. I see all these watches with beaded bands, and can't help but think I'd break all the little beads with one fell swoop of my hand (as I often seem to do). Into my head the other day comes the idea to do something Celtic and make it of wire. So spirals of wire it had to be, but how to make it pop? And how to make sure it goes with everything? Black and crystal of course! Black firepolish glass beads and Swarovski crystals are inserted into the spiral links to make it that much more special. And, can you believe it, there are almost 3 FEET of wire in this baby!! I LOOOVE it! It's feminine with a bit of an edge. It goes with everything, and it is AFFORDABLE!!! $37.95, AMAZING!!
This will soon be for sale on my Etsy store at http://www.littlestudiojewels.etsy.com
I hope you check it out!
That's all for now, I have more jewellery to create!!

Keychains are Beadariffic!

~Celtic Style Clover End Key Chain and Spiral End Key Chain,
I love these stones! When I first ordered them, I knew they would be big, but I didn't think they would be this big! These are HUGE!! They could almost double as a self-defense rock. A good weight, and almost 2 inches long, it will be easy to find in a purse or jacket pocket. I only have 2 of these, and there are 2 styles: the clover end or the spiral end. They are made with African granite, which is similar to Lapis lazuli in that it has gold-like flecks in the mottled blue background. Each stone has a silver plated 'daisy' spacer on each end with a clear, silver-lined Czech glass bead topping it off. The wire is thick, non-tarnish silver-plated wire, with a silver plated chain and nickel key ring. These will each be for sale on the Etsy website starting tomorrow. Check it out: http://www.littlestudiojewels.etsy.com
Enjoy!

New Store on Etsy!

Well I am proud to say that in addition to my website at www.littlestudio.ca I now have a store on Etsy.com!
You can find my store at http://www.littlestudiojewels.etsy.com or you can go to Etsy.com and enter the name LittleStudioJewels
There you'll find affordable items not available for sale on the website. Although I'm trying to keep up with the website, the Etsy store allows me to spend less time on the computer and more time with my jewellery. I'll keep the website up and add to it, but the Etsy store is going to be my focus for the next while. I have a few new pieces coming together now that I am very excited about, so I do hope you'll go to my Etsy store to see them!
That's all for now, thanks so much for visiting!
